Cutting Board Oil made from odourless food-safe mineral oil will help protect your wood chopping boards and wooden kitchen utensils.
This is a superb Food Grade Mineral oil, it will not taint your boards, it is completely safe direct or indirect contact with food.
Directions for use: For best results apply warm to allow deeper penetration into the wood. Use a clean cloth and apply in the direction of the wood grain. Let it soak for at least 20 mins, wiping off any excess. Buff the wood to a nice sheen. To ” Season” a new cutting surface, apply 3 – 4 coats before using.
Note: the 1st coat will absorb more oil than following coats. Once you have seasoned then you can continue the care by using Howard Butcher Block Conditioner.
